Over the years there has been controversy over some of the hidden and subliminal messages that naughty Disney animators have slipped into some of their films. I can’t verify if all of these are true, but they’ve been spread around enough that I have to believe that some of them are legitimate.

The thing is that when most of these movies were made, there wasn’t any easy way for people to find these things, and the animators knew this. It was sort of an inside joke. I remember when the Jessica Rabbit stuff hit the news, it was because it came out on Laserdisc and someone found it with the freeze frame feature. Anyway, on with the show:

This is one that has actually been debunked, but I still thought it was pretty funny. Apparently when some people listen to the scene with Donald Duck in this movie, they think he calls Daffy Duck a “God Dam Stupid Nigger!” Apparently that is not the case, but you can click here to have a listen for yourself.
